To submit your photography, please visit our "Submissions" page, where you can upload your images and submit articles. You'll need to fill out a brief form with your contact information and a description of your work.

2. What types of photography and articles are you looking for?

Far West Magazine highlights Western style photography. We accept a wide range of photography styles, including but not limited to portrait, landscape, documentary, fashion, etc. We’re interested in original and creative work that tells a story.You can find article inspiration here. 

3. Can I submit both photos and an article?

Yes! We encourage photographers to not only submit their images but also write a short article or description to accompany their work. It could be about the concept behind the project, your creative process, or any personal insights related to the work.

4. Is there a submission fee?

No, submitting your work is completely free. We want to make it accessible to all photographers, regardless of their budget. 

5. How do I know if my submission has been accepted?

Far West magazine is a rolling submission-based. If your submission is accepted for publication, we will notify you with further details about the next steps, such as deadlines and any additional materials we might need. 

6. What are the image size and format requirements?

Please upload high-resolution images in JPEG or TIFF format. We recommend a resolution of at least 300 DPI for print-quality images.

7. Can I submit work that has been published elsewhere?

Yes we do accept submissions that have been previously published.

8. Do you offer any payment for published work?

At this time, we are focused on offering photographers exposure through our platform, but we are actively working towards providing compensation for contributors in the future. Your work will be fully credited and showcased to our growing community of photography enthusiasts.

9. Can I submit multiple works at once?

Yes! You can submit multiple pieces of work, but please submit them separately.

10. Can I submit work if I’m a new or emerging photographer?

Absolutely! We welcome photographers of all experience levels. Whether you're just starting out or have an established portfolio, we’re interested in showcasing fresh perspectives and unique voices in the community.

11. How do I get my photography on the front cover of Far West Magazine?

Our front cover will be hand-picked by our team. We gravitate toward captivating articles and images to help encourage new readers to discover your work through the magazine. If your work is selected as the front cover image for your issue, you will be notified via email.

12. Do you offer Sponsor Submission? How do I submit?

Far West Magazine offers quarter, half, and full-page sponsor submission pages, more information can be found here. You can submit your ad via email or the submissions page. When your ad is approved, you will receive an email from our team.
